Published by Breakdown Press in 2024. Featuring all the strips of the eponymous dogpiled sucker,
The downfall of an actor playing Dogbo, an anthropomorphic dog, unfolds in a bleak, noir-tinged Hollywood thriller that disintegrates into sadistic cartoon logic—Mulholland Drive meets Krazy Kat. Rendered in uneasy, sparse, dead-line drawings.
description from Organ.fail
Stapled binding, risograph printed by PageMasters in London on a beautiful, buttery uncoated orange-ish interior paper, the cover on not on a ridgid cardstock but instead on a amphibian-leather-like green stock.
It’s pretty much Sold Out by now, but you maybe still find copies stateside at Floating World Comics or at 50 Watts Books.
And if you never get to gander it, here’s the last say on DOGBO as published in the first issue of the relaunched physical VICE Magazine, DOGBO finally getting his day in the sun? :
and here’s a review from Hagai Palevsky at the Comics Journal
